CAPITOL COMEDY Presents - You Can’t Be Serious!

Take a break from the grind of daily news with Capitol Comedy’s new show, “You Can’t Be Serious!” Seven talented performers set up the Harris-Walz Administration and Trump-Vance challenge, and a host of public figures with song parodies, comedy sketches, mock commercials and fake news updates. This comedy show borrows familiar melodies from Broadway, movies, and pop culture, and adds clever lyrics to poke fun at American politicians and world leaders.

No topic is off limits as the troupe finds humor in:

• Donald Trump’s nicknames for his political opponents in the song, My Favorite Stings.
• Kamala Harris’ laments about the impossible tasks Biden assigned her and a promotion to the top of the ticket, in the song Kamala’s Lament.
• J. D. Vance’s explanation for his career meanders in the song, Actin’ Like A Hillbilly.
