Presented by Summit Health Cares
Get into the holiday spirit with a night of show tunes performed by Broadway’s finest performers. Don’t miss Summit Health Cares’ Broadway Rocks Cancer on December 13th at the Tower Theatre in Bend! Grab a friend and celebrate the holidays with a star-studded group of Broadway actors all for a good cause. Proceeds raised at Broadway Rocks Cancer will go towards the Cancer Comfort Project, providing multiple resources from one-on-one patient navigation services and community resources to mind/body programs and patient-in-need grants – all aimed at providing comfort and easing stress and anxiety for patients. In addition, this year’s funds will go beyond supportive cancer programming to help underserved Oregonians through community drives with backpacks and mittens as well as the Fresh Start program, which provides diapers and period products to families, ensuring they have vital hygiene products needed to get through each day.
This year’s event will be hosted by Christopher Hanke (Rent). Featured performers include Carly Hughes (The Book of Mormon), Sean Montgomery (The Music Man), Sylvia MacCalla (Hairspray), Alex Ellis (Catch Me if You Can), Justin Showell (Hamilton), Natalie Joy Johnson (Kinky Boots), Austin Phillips (The Sound of Music), Danny Quadrino (Wicked), Michael Fatica (Matilda), Grasan Kingsberry (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) and Jay Armstrong Johnson (The Phantom of the Opera).
